If you're a licensed truck driver, enter Daimler Trucks' Slice of Life Contest and you become the Slice of Life driver for a year, including the chance to drive a $25,000 tractor.
To enter, write an essay describing why you should be the next Slice of Life driver. Judges are looking for compliance with the requirements, completeness, and originality of essay.
The grand-prize winner will receive the chance to become the next Daimler Slice of Life driver and receive a year-long truck demonstration agreement. The prize includes the use of a Freightliner Cascadia tractor worth $25,000.
Entry is open to US residents aged 26 and above who have a minimum of 4 years of licensed driving experience, 12 months of overtheroad Class 8 truck driving experience, a positive work history and driving record, no criminal history, etc. Enter once before December 31, 2009.
